Terrific attribution. Inscribed by V.Y. Cook who rode with the 12th then the 7th Kentucky (Under N.B. Forrest) and who is profiled in this book on pages 147-8. His picture precedes page 147. Rosters. The book was a gift to Judge Charles Coffin of Rogersville, TN, who served in the Army of Tennessee under Joe Johnston. Several pieces of info on Cook and Coffin included. THIS A RARE ONE!
