Author was the LtCol of the 2nd Mass Inf and was killed at Antietam. Book almost all CW, tipped in photo of Dwight. Nevins I-84; “best source on 2nd Mass…” Dornbusch I-MA-90. The unit was a member of Fox's Fighting 300, one of those Federal units that suffered the most during the War.Very rare.
