I believe this is the rarest and most expensive of the Ashby biographies. It is a complete history with seven outstanding appendices attached. These were written by notables such as Chew, battery commander; McDonald, a member of the brigade and author of the very collectible unit history, Myers, commander of the Comanches of the Seventh Virginia Cavalry and author of their very rare unit history.

Nevins I-53: States this is the best source of material on Ashby. Howes 425.
