Gold lettering on spine chipped, but bright.Also not sure whether the covering is morroco leather or pebbled black cloth. Have seen many but not a copy like this. / None. Item #420
Accepted as the best biography of Forrest and his campaigns. It was prepared soon after the War and it is believed that the great cavalryman had a hand in editing it.
Contains portraits of Forrest's subordinates and it also has the required six maps, all in excellent condition.
