This is an address to Confederate Survivors at their 12th reunion. This booklet contains two narratives, that of the prolific Colonel Jones on Josiah Tattnall and General Forrest at Brice's Crossroads amongst other bits and pieces.

This account is supplemented by a poem written by Colonel Joseph Cumming titled “Chickamauga.” Cumming started his service as a private in the 5th Georgia, CSA, and progressed through the rank as a staff officer for notable Southern generals. He was slightly wounded at Shiloh and was a participant at Chickamauga, Atlanta, and Nashville/Franklin.
